You are enough

A distraction in my life turned into a hiatus from Posibody, which should not have happened, but it did. However, though that distraction happened, it’s beginning to fade and now a simple sentence has been on my mind that I wish to share with each and every one of you reading this right now.

Because what is going to transpire here in a few moments is specifically for you.

Imagine you and I are in a coffee shop, sitting across from one another. I’m maintaining strong eye contact with you because I want you to get this sentence in your mind, in your heart, in your spirit.

Because, sister, you have been down. You’ve been broken. I’ve felt there are burdens people carry to this blog space, trying to find some encouragement.

It’s time now to get up.

It’s time to silence that negativity swirling in your head and turning into your reality.

And the simple sentence is this: You are enough.

Read each word, then all together.

You are enough.

Do you have more job responsibilities at work and you think you won’t be able to handle them?

You are enough.

Did you not get that promotion like you desperately wanted?

You are enough.

That guy not text or call you back like you hoped?

You are enough.

Did you miss the deadline on fulfilling those resolutions back in January?

You are enough.

Do you feel alone, unwanted, not beautiful?

You are enough.

Do you feel tired, weak, hopeless?

You are enough.

Do you doubt your work is being recognized?

You are enough.

Do you feel unappreciated?

You are enough.

Do you feel you’ve failed in some area?

You are enough.

My darling, let me tell you: The external situations you go through, the difficulties, the struggles you face do not define who you are internally.

They do not strip you of your worth, of your precious value, of your purpose.

You are enough.

You are still capable. You are still strong. You are still beautiful. You can still make a difference in this world.

Why?

Because YOU are enough.
